What's your role?
As the Product Practice Lead you would play a key role in maturing Bupa's Product Management discipline by championing the importance and value of product management principles, culture, product development models (plan-driven and iterative), product value frameworks and product validation/ experimentation approaches to maximise customer and business value outcomes.
This includes career development and learning pathways for product management talent to progress in their careers at Bupa, in partnership and alignment with the Enterprise Ways of Working team who shape the broader Bupa operating and chapter model.
What will your day involve?
In this exciting newly created opportunity, you will be responsible for: Establishing Product as a practice across Bupa APAC to support all Product roles.
Be instrumental in Bupa's enterprise Ways of Working transformation , specifically the move from project managed to product led.
Set Product Management standards, consistency, and use of tooling, taking into consideration the broader eco-system in which product exists including design, delivery, and technology.
Lead the management of the overall product capability, including maturity, training, recruitment, career progression, skill balance.
This includes Experimentation as a product discipline to drive continuous improvement and help product people embrace experimentation as part of their job.
Identify the broader product community across Bupa APAC and lead engagement through a community of practice/guild to drive cross skilling, development, consistency, community, and culture.
Conduct assessments to identify knowledge, skills, strengths, and culture across product teams.
Lead development of the Learning & Development strategy for Product, in partnership with APAC Digital and Senior Product Leaders.
Manage the product Learning & Development budget across the Bupa product management community.
Manage the end-to-end delivery of learning programs, including scheduling, coordination, and participant enrolment.
What will you bring?
Extensive experience in product management and how this delivers commercial performance and customer experience outcomes 5+ years' experience leading product management as a practice in a large organisation, or depth of experience leading Product and experimentation roles, establishing product best practice, value and experimentation frameworks, and product skill/ career development to support people's effectiveness in role.
Emotionally intelligent, strategic innovator who is curious and proactively seeks out opportunities for improvement.
Experienced working on Enterprise level transformations working towards Agile / product- led Ways of Working A coaching practitioner with strong experience in value management, adept at applying techniques such as Agile, Human-Centered Design (HCD), Lean Six Sigma and Experimentation approaches to drive effective product and customer outcomes.
Excellent collaborator, having worked across many business units and stakeholders within an organisation to drive alignment and success.
