Your Opportunity As the Product Portfolio Coordinator you will be responsible for:
Supporting the implementation of the strategic direction in relation to Product Portfolio activity for the region.Providing a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, educational, private, public, community and research sectors with regard to the Product Portfolio.Providing advice to the region's personnel and relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to procurement.This position reports to the Manager Product Services.
This is a Temporary, Full-Time opportunity, to 30 June 2025 unless otherwise determined. The position will be based primarily at Cairns however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, manage and contribute to the design, implementation, reporting and completion of processes and Product Portfolio projects that are aligned to TAFE Queensland strategic direction.Ensure risks are identified with TAFE Queensland North Product Portfolio Lead and managed through effective risk management strategies and ensure that TAFE Queensland and its regional entities are appraised of and consulted regularly on relevant issues pertaining to the Product Portfolio accountabilities.Undertake productive stakeholder engagement to liaise and build mutually beneficial working relationships within TAFE Queensland, regional entities and key stakeholders relevant to Product Portfolio activity.Work with TAFE Queensland customers to ensure their needs are the main consideration in all Product Portfolio decisions and actions.Provide assistance and support to the TAFE Queensland North Product Portfolio Lead and undertake other tasks and responsibilities including the preparation of briefings, submissions and reports, and contributing to projects, committees and working parties convened by and/or as delegated.Ensure secretariat functions are provided to enable the efficient and effective running of Product Portfolio's for TAFE Queensland North.Co-ordinate and provide advice and support to Product Portfolio leads for the region and other regional matters related to projects and services.Make recommendations to TAFE Queensland North Product Portfolio Lead regarding the acquisition of product from a range of sources.Lead activities to ensure TAFE Queensland product meets the expectations of customers and is reliable and delivers quality outcomes.Actively engage with industry, business and the community.How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
