YOUR ROLE Join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term viability and health of our products! As a key contributor, you will drive improvements in how product health and distribution obligations are measured and managed. You'll lead the analysis of systemic risks and future product trends, providing valuable insights and recommendations on risk identification, assessment, and treatment across individual motor products and entire product classes. Your work will ensure our products align with customer and market needs, based on key trends. You'll be accountable for monitoring retail insurance product viability through the analysis of internal and external KPIs, informing product design and updates. By driving compliance with Design and Distribution Obligations, you'll ensure our product propositions remain fit for their target markets.
You'll also conduct analyses on systemic risks and monitor product fit based on customer and market trends. Collaborate with Product Underwriting to ensure long-term risk assurance. If you're passionate about product health and risk management, this role is perfect for you!
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to our IAG offices in: Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne), and Meanjin (Brisbane).
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria:
Previous experience in a portfolio/product/finance/pricing/actuarial role within a large-scale insurer or financial services organization.Strong understanding of product pricing and underwriting performance principles.Knowledge of the Financial Services Regulatory landscape, including Risk, Legal & Compliance, and regulatory issues.Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Accounting. You are also preferably ANZIIF qualified. Make sure to discuss all internal applications with your current manager before applying.
