What role will you play?As a Trade Surveillance Platform Owner within the Product and Capability Team you will be responsible for ensuring the Trade Surveillance system coverage and capabilities remain fit for purpose to meet regulatory requirements and internal risk assessments.
You will act as a Product Owner within an agile environment and provide direction to aligned Technology squads by continuously defining and prioritising Trade Surveillance requirements in consultation with business surveillance teams, business compliance and business operational risk managers.
In this role you will manage and maintain a prioritised backlog ensuring surveillance leads, business stakeholders, compliance and risk managers are fully informed of the Trade Surveillance product roadmap and Book of Work. In addition, you will manage the day-to-day BAU operational support with incumbent trade surveillance platforms and troubleshoot across the global user base.
What you offerDemonstrated 10 years' experience from a similar role within the banking and financial services industry and have experience using industry leading trade surveillance platforms such as Smarts, Scila or ACA Trade Surveillance.Strong knowledge of listed products (exchange traded cash equities, futures incl equity & futures derivatives) and OTC products (Commodities, FX, Fixed Income).Worked in an agile environment including experience in driving technology squads and managing multiple stakeholders across all levels.Prior experience in roadmap planning & prioritisation and understanding how to balance tactical and strategic work to deliver the maximum business value.Self-direction with the ability to proactively identify and analyse problems, and propose viable solutions.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
