The Simple Credit Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the CommBank Simple Credit business. We consist of squads that look after the design and development of new credit propositions, acquisition and growth of our portfolio, and end-to-end process improvement.

See yourself in the team Reporting directly to the Crew Lead, this role is accountable for delivering against our growth aspiration for our StepPay product (and future propositions). You will play a critical role in scaling our business, working across the Crew and in collaboration with support teams to find, onboard, and engage new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities will include: Lead and define the vision and roadmap for customer growth and engagement, understanding and maximizing customer and business value.Lead the end-to-end delivery of the roadmap, working in collaboration with multiple teams, including Credit Risk, Marketing, and Data.Manage the Squad's performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking.Apply expertise to support opportunity analysis, prioritization, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations.Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritization decisions.Identify, articulate, and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.Lead the Squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.Maintain a well-prioritized Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.Communicate with clarity and excellence to all levels of stakeholders, including senior management. We want to hear from you if you have: Experience in product and feature development, in particular, acquisition and in-life engagement activities.Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment.Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders on strategic priorities.Advanced ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently and execute on a roadmap of initiatives.Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills across all levels of the business.Proven problem-solving skills coupled with a strong ability to be customer-centric and think differently about strategies to grow the portfolio.Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills.Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities, upcoming due dates, and prioritization decisions when required.Strong credit product knowledge is preferred; experience managing banking products is highly regarded.Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions.Tertiary qualification in a Business/Commerce Degree preferred.Risk Mindset - All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
