This role is a part of our Customer Engagement & Digital Domain within RBS.
We are responsible for leading our retail end-to-end digital-first customer experience strategy, driving innovation, improving customer engagement and creating new business opportunities through partnerships, ventures and the Group's digital ecosystem.
About the role and team We are looking to hire a Product Owner (Senior Manager level) to develop and deliver the vision for our real-time digital data platform within the Core Experiences Crew at CommBank Digital.
This high availability, digital data platform powers many critical elements of the customer experience in the CommBank App and our web-based Netbank experiences for over 9 million customers.
This role will be pivotal in defining the vision and driving the next evolution of real-time digital data experiences across the CommBank Digital ecosystem.
This role seeks a Product Owner that is deeply passionate about enabling delightful digital experiences with a best-in-class real-time data platform, a Team Player that is eager to collaborate and work with many stakeholders and Product Owners, and a Visionary that can demonstrate an ability to craft a powerful vision for real-time customer data platform, while willing to get deep into the detail with the Squad to help break down large work into smaller deliverables, overcome blockers and challenges, and always strive for continuous development and optimisation of our Product.
The Product Owner for the squad will be responsible and accountable for, but not limited to: Actively collaborate and drive Product Strategy with other Product Owners in Core Experiences, helping drive a vision fuelled by our data platform Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
Act as the voice of the customer and translate this for the team to coordinate a 'one-team' approach to problem solving Provide clear lines of communication with our stakeholders on the product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.
Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.
Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/ business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.
Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.
Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
Manage the squad's performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.
We're interested in hearing from people who Have proven Product Owner experience, ideally within Digital, and Digital Data teams Are passionate about driving amazing customer experiences in the form of highly available and reliable data Proven experience leading teams Are experienced in defining and executing on a Product vision and roadmap.
Are happy to get into the detail by supporting the team with technical diagrams and unblocking technical issues.
Experience with Agile methodology, working within an Agile Matrix would be ideal.
Have experience managing Risks and Product Compliance and using formal methods to document them.
Prior experience working with a team that use Java and AWS would be desirable, but not a must.
