Product Owner - Retail Store Innovation Job Summary As a Product Owner - Retail Store Innovation, you will be responsible for driving technological advancements and innovative solutions within Telstra's physical retail stores. The lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge retail technologies, such as AI, IoT, and mobile solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and market trends.
What You'll do Create and manage a comprehensive roadmap for Telstra Retail physical stores. Own the strategy, planning, and end-to-end delivery of projects and the associated capital spend. Business case ideas to determine their potential impact and applicability within the organization and prepare and present these opportunities to executive level management to gain support in executing these opportunities. Collaborate with internal partners in networks, IT, marketing and sales to execute new projects as well as external agencies and consultants as well as assessing market research and competitor analysis to develop the retail technology strategy for Telstra. Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices to keep the organization at the forefront of retail technology. Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners to leverage external expertise and resources. Key Skills and Technical Expertise Broad experience as a Product Owner or retail strategy consultancy type experience. Extensive experience working in or with large organizations, managing capex programs and execution of projects in new technology in physical stores. Solid experience managing projects, present and discuss data directly to the business executives. Strategic thinker – ability to take ideas and connect them in with the overall business strategy, to see how the future retail stores should look like.
