The Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) is a landmark reform that replaces the judicial Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal with an administrative scheme prioritising victims' needs and supporting their recovery from violent Product Owner will:Drive outcomes and collaborate with experts and stakeholders to implement the new business modelWork within the agile process, making decisions on priorities, business value, and functionality for the Agile teamEnsure ICT products and processes meet the future needs of FAS.About the Role:Reporting to the Project Director - Scheme Delivery, you will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and subject matter experts to lead the delivery of key FAS ICT products from design to business use. This includes a new Salesforce Case Management System, website, contact centre, integrations, and reporting tools.With a short delivery runway and a large product delivery agenda, this role requires an experienced technical expert who can make and communicate decisions independently, navigate ambiguity, and swiftly resolve issues and project blockers to drive progress and meet delivery milestones.Duties include:Leading business communications with key stakeholders, the ICT Project Manager, and experts to align objectives and processes across productsRepresenting the FAS reform project team independently, setting clear goals with DJCS Technology Solutions' ICT team members and vendors for each release and sprintAttending defect triage meetings to assign defect severity and business priority, and reviewing backlog sequencingAttending sprint showcases to review designs, consider changes, and sign off, ensuring all product requirements meet FAS needs and MVP scope and timeline.Reviewing change requests, assessing the impact on scope, timelines, and business readinessParticipating in scrums, sprint stand-ups, showcases, user testing, and roadmap planning meetingsAdvising and liaising with Senior Project Managers on critical ICT dependencies.About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:A strong ability to deliver ICT work programs, including managing deliverables and timelinesA proficiency in collaboration and influence, motivating others to deliver on organisational goals, objectives, and operational plansAn expertise in project management, demonstrating a consideration of historical, political and broader contexts to inform project directions and mitigate risk while engaging key stakeholders at senior levels and balancing the needs of clients, team, and the organisation.Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
