The Product Owner – Vulnerability is a pivotal role within Qantas Group Technology, responsible for strategic leadership, development and management of a critical technology. The role defines and drives the technology strategy, roadmap and the execution of initiatives to achieve this, for their allocated technology product, ensuring the technology meets the organisation's needs. The role will lead a high-performing cross functional team, guiding and mentoring them and vendors to ensure features are delivered to commitments, the products meet the service levels, and are secure and resilient by design.
The Product Owner has a customer-centric mentality, responsible for developing a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation and develop and deliver the strategy and roadmap for Vulnerability across the Qantas Group Technology.
You'll Have Minimum 7 years experience working on technology platforms within large complex organisations.Minimum 5 years' experience working in an Agile environmentTertiary Qualification, Tertiary degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber or relevant field.Strong Power BI skillsStrong presentation skillsProven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, or lead the solving of strategic problems of high complexity on a large scaleExpert stakeholder engagement and management skills across both business and technical functionsDeep understanding of technology platforms, familiarity with platform architectures, components and functionality.Solid experience in operational service managementExperience in coaching and modelling Agile mind-set and ways of workingProficient in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, design thinking, HCD and other frameworksExperience designing and facilitating fit for purpose workshops that deliver defined outcomesStrong verbal and written communications skillsAble to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processesAdaptability to navigate ambiguity, demonstrate resilience, and effectively manage diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.Strong negotiation and conflict skillsStrong commercial and business acumen including vendor managementThe Qantas employee benefits program offers amazing benefits that extend well beyond travel.
