The role: We're on the lookout for our first Product Owner, reporting directly to the General Manager.
The role will be instrumental in keeping TransVirtual at the forefront of the logistics SaaS space in ANZ whilst helping us develop and deliver solutions to support our growth in North America and beyond.
About you The perfect person for this role is a commercial orientated product owner looking for a role with broad responsibility.
Leverage feedback and research to create a strong product roadmap. Prioritising both on a needs and revenue basis to maximise benefit Document requirements from high level scoping through to detailed dev requirements Become the internal subject matter expert on product, leveraging peers for guidance before taking on that mantle over time Collaborate with and guide the engineering team to commercial outcomes You'll work with our product designer to create beautiful designs and workflows About the team We are an agile team, with our own variations, and change is just another day, so being adaptable is important.
We've got new product development underway in parallel to back and front end replatforming which will offer UX and UI (and other) improvement to clients.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with our clients and your colleagues (especially those with industry experience) to determine the challenges faced and how our products can help them overcome these Collaborate with the GM to refresh our product roadmap, using competitor intelligence and client requirements to inform decision making Leverage the strategic overview to guide development priorities during backlog grooming and sprint planning to ensure outcomes align with our objectives as well as with customer need Work across multiple projects in parallel to ensure smooth delivery aligned to user needs and commercial requirements Knowledge and skills: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience Strong design background, possibly a graphic designer or product designer Experience creating workflows and automating them for customer experience improvements Commercial acumen with demonstrable ability to connect customer need and revenue based decision making Independent worker, comfortable between the balance of executing and strategizing Possess a proactive, positive, and professional approach their work Direct experience in logistics is an added benefit This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits packages.
