You will lead product development initiatives, manage the product backlog, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our customers.

The successful candidate will live within commutable distance of our office in Melbourne, Victoria! What your day will look like: Product Compliance and Leadership: Ensure the product adheres to legal standards and ethical considerationsDemonstrate leadership by actively inspiring the team and stakeholders with the product vision and strategic goalsBacklog and Development Management: Create, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to align with business objectives and customer needsMake strategic decisions on feature inclusion for sprints or releases to maximize customer and business valueEnsure clarity, understanding, and proper estimation of backlog items by the development teamTeam Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with developers, designers, marketers, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and within-budget product deliveryManage resource allocation and forecasting to optimize team productivityResolve any roadblocks or bottlenecks that affect the development processCoordinate internal resources for the analysis and design of new features and enhancementsStakeholder Engagement: Actively participate in stakeholder meetings, translating requirements into actionable high-level ticketsPresent and clarify the upcoming work to the team, ensuring that all members are aligned and motivatedAbout You: 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development, specifically with workforce management or payroll systemsAt least a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with regulations and standards applicable to FairWork and modern awardsIndustry experience in Disability Care, Aged Care, or Pharmacy is highly desirableStrong tactical focus with the ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog effectivelyExcellent communication and leadership skills to foster an environment of clear understanding and collaborative problem-solvingProficient in Agile methodologies and toolsStrategic thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentFluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential Legally authorised to work in Australia For information about Easy Employer, please visit our website at www.easyemployer.com.au We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
