About the role:Join Nova's dynamic PMO team, dedicated to enhancing project management skills across our ANZ and International operating units.
Given our recent integration of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Oracle) Project Portfolio Management (PPM), we are advancing our Project Management Toolset capabilities to new heights.As the Product Owner of PMO Toolsets, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising our Oracle PPM functionality and driving impactful improvements to meet our operational needs.Reporting directly to the Head of PMO, you'll also contribute to the development and maintenance of Nova's overall project management capabilities, including policies, processes, and training.This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and grow with a forward-thinking company.Please note: This is a 2-year max term contract, with strong likelihood of being made permanent.What you will be involved in: Manage and optimise Nova's current Project Management toolset suite to meet evolving operational needs Understand and document Nova's Oracle PPM implementation, including interfaces with related Oracle modules and other enterprise systems Identify and document current and future operational and business assurance needs for project delivery, monitoring, and reporting Develop and execute an Oracle PPM capability maturity roadmap, once approved Lead the implementation of approved changes and improvements to Oracle PPM, in collaboration with the Oracle Support Team and relevant business functions Continue to support the PPM Functional Lead role by monitoring user issue trends to identify system improvements, managing change and improvement requests, proposing system and business process solutions, and working with the Oracle Support Team to resolve issues and implement changes Serve as a subject matter expert on PM tools, including Oracle PPM and reporting, to support Nova's project execution Develop, update, and maintain user guides and training documentation for the toolset and Oracle PPM Conduct Oracle PPM training sessions, both group and one-on-one, face-to-face or virtually (via MS Teams), with support from the PMO team Support PMO annual business planning and the identification of prioritised functional objectives Contribute to the PMO's broader efforts to continuously improve Nova's project delivery capability What we would like from you: Formal training or qualifications in Oracle PPM and Reporting, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience in Oracle PPM and Reporting Product Owner roles Experience in project management is highly desirable An understanding of Change Management will be beneficial Proficiency with PM toolsets, including scheduling, risk management, and earned value management Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on implementation Life at Nova – it all adds up!
