About the role
As aProduct Ownerfor Global Payments,focusingon ourAPI product stream, you will be the voice of the customer.Reporting to the Head of Productyou willberesponsible forensuring that the products and associated features being created by the development teams align to customer and business requirements.
Working within the existing Agile framework ofLarge ScaleScrum (LeSS), you will promote and enable continuous improvement in high quality products and services while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the technical teams have all the knowledge and supportrequired.
Other key areas of responsibility will include:
Managingthe product backlog, defineuser stories and work with the development team and key stakeholders to build the best solutions to deliver customer aligned outcomes.
Breakdown problems and needs into Epics and user stories with clearly defined acceptancecriteria;
Understanding the problem and needs of the customers and stakeholders, and communicating this to the developmentteams
Gatheringfeature requests and coordinate work throughoutsprints;
Workingwith the Product Management team to develop the productroadmap;
Workingclosely withProductManagement and senior managementin order tocreate a product that fitshe companyportfolio;
Understandingand beup-to-datewith industry trends and market dynamics.
About you

You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment with the ability to steer your team's deliverables against key initiatives.In addition to being both quality driven and customer focused,you willpossessthe following skills and attributes:
Proven experience working as a Product Owner and Business Analyst within an agile scrumenvironment;
Technical knowledge of software,applicationand systemsengineering;
Good conceptual appreciation of API approaches, use cases andtechnologies;
Strong organisational skills with aproblem solvingmindset;
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships both internally andexternally;
A high levelof written and verbal communicationskills;
Knowledge of the payments and/or financial services industry is a nice to have!
