Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner - Data to join a dynamic team.
As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of data-driven initiatives.
This role is critical in maximising the value delivered by a dedicated scrum team, ensuring that the team's backlog aligns with both customer and stakeholder needs.
The Product Owner serves as the primary advocate for users and stakeholders, connecting business strategy with technology implementation and supporting agile product evolution.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility between working from home and a Brisbane CBD office.
( Please note you must be based in Brisbane ) Responsibilities: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for data-related projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards of human centred design.
Gather and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for digital product improvement.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps and release plans.
Act as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries and issues.
The ideal candidate will have: Own and lead product prioritisation Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and data scientists, working closely with Product leadership and Squad leads to deliver across the product platform.
Spend 40% of your time engaging with the business, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders, and 60% working on the platform, focusing on technical components.
Manage the execution of the product roadmap, from quarterly goals through to daily backlog management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the scrum team and collaborate with the Scrum Master to enhance ways of working     How to apply This position requires Full Australian work rights, Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
