Work type: Permanent Full timeRegion: NSW- Sydney CBD, VIC- Melbourne CBD, Hybrid: Work from any Capital City in AustraliaThe role: Reporting to the Head of Product Owner, this role will focus on leading and executing initiatives that support the bank's Net Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) commitments and supporting B&PB's ESG & Climate related objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Formulating the value proposition, product vision and development roadmap for key initiatives that support B&PB's ESG goals and ambitions.Deliver (with support of business SME's) essential capabilities to support NZBA (Net Zero Banking Alliance) commitments.Deliver and embed changes that ensure alignment to the overall Climate Transition Strategy, providing strategic guidance and influence where needed.Support the design and execution of the overall Commercial Management transformation strategy.Work closely with key stakeholders in Technology, Risk, C&IB, B&PB and Business Lending to continuously evolve the capabilities within Commercial Management.Influence and manage senior stakeholder relationships; co-ordinate and draft Steering group packs and supporting material, responses to regulatory and/or internal stakeholder queries.Provide assistance and direction to technology squads during design, delivery, testing and implementation.What you will bring: In-depth understanding of financial products either from a Business or Technology perspective.Strong banking experience, with experience in Business Lending highly regarded.Demonstrated experience, delivering and supporting large scale change initiatives/transformation or similar.Extensive knowledge of the ESG space, with previous ESG related project exposure/experience highly regarded.Confidence in working where there is ambiguity; working with the available information and your business knowledge/judgement to keep progressing deliverables.Proven leadership skills working in cross functional teams.Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal; ability to engage, influence, negotiate with and leverage key stakeholders and partners including senior leadership.Ability to navigate simultaneous competing priorities through proficient organisational and planning skills.Demonstrated experience uplifting business processes and embedding change.Inclusion and Diversity We know that our people make us who we are.
