About the Role
As a Product Owner in our Identity & Access Management Technology Area, you'll play a key role in helping to  enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the squad's backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

What will your day look like? As a Product Owner, you are:

Commercially savvy –I synthesise multiple sources of information and leverage strong relationships to make sound decisions that enable the needs of both the bank and the customer
A knowledge junkie that does stuff with it –I actively seek out market trends, leading practices and innovations in Domain area and rapidly maximise their relevance and opportunity for the organisation
Have a good ol' dose of professional humility – I actively and visibly asks for feedback and role models discussing failures and weaknesses in the interest of learning

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in Authentication solutions, architecture, protocols/standards and products.
Good familiarity with Cloud and DevOps technology and tools sets.
Ability to continually develop, innovate and adapt the Authentication strategy & roadmap, with consideration to the latest industry developments  and alignment to the organisation strategic goals.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others.
Works with Product Area Lead/Tech Area Lead to understand and plan for workforce capability needs, current and future.
Previous experience in Ping Identity (or similar Access Management or SSO technology) and Dev Ops (will be highly regarded).
Ability to manage and oversee the integration of Ping Identity solutions (or similar) within a broader ecosystem of security tools and solutions (i.e. Azure AD, RSA).
Experience with compliance requirements and the ability to ensure that solutions meet regulatory standards.
Demonstrated experience in leading Agile teams and working within an Agile framework.
Ability to prioritize and manage product backlogs, defining clear and actionable user stories.
Resource and Financial Management of investment and operations budgets
