You'll lead the team developing and managing Arnie, a cloud-based software platform for the auto insurance claims industry. Our users include insurance companies, claims assessors, repairers and customers. This is an opportunity to join a cross-functional team to lead all aspects of the product, including product management, product roadmap, product development, and executive account your role as Product Owner - Arnie, you will:Develop and execute an innovative, competitive product roadmap Manage and develop strategic relationships and projects with key clientsBring the customer's voice into the business requirements gathering, solution design, product development, testing processes and implementationManage a capable, expert technical teamProduct leadershipCollaborate with strategic leaders to align with corporate and customer strategies, ensuring that the planning, documentation, development activities, project management and team leadership are managed efficiently and effectivelyDevelop an in-depth understanding of customers and industry requirements to define and articulate the direction, positioning and requirements of the product roadmap and backlog to ensure they meet market demand and client expectations to deliver on business growth objectivesLead and energise the team and customers to foster excitement, consensus and delivery of product roadmapBusiness analysisAdvocate: Become a strategic and technical advocate for our customers and be a thought leader for the insurance industrySolution design: define solutions, produce solution design documents, consult with the architecture, development and product leads on delivery, workflows, concepts, mock-ups, and business process re-engineering including impact and benefits analyses Change requests: manage incoming change requests through requirements gathering, prioritisation activities, seek and gather further information whilst aligning the core product valueFacilitator: lead strategic discussions, workshops and investigations to define solutions and concepts, gain validation and agreement from customers and negotiate release priorities Project management: stakeholder engagement, attend customer meetings, conduct workshops, gather and document requirements using standard approaches, tools and templates with a focus on continuously improving process, deliver project/product roadmap on time and within budgetPeople leadership: Actively participate in Scrum-Kanban and other Agile processes including daily stand-ups, sprint/release planning, backlog refinement, post-implementation reviews and retrospectives Account managementManage key accounts, relationships and professional services to deliver valuable product features and functionality with measurable outcomesCreate, collaborate and coordinate monthly reports to each customer including work in progress, strategic initiatives, product performance and opportunities to discuss with joint management Schedule and lead joint management team meetings with customers and key stakeholders including partners with whom we share an invested interest in our shared customersActively participate and contribute to the preparation of quarterly business reviews with senior customer stakeholders and annual reports and 'Arnie Think Tank' roadmap developmentEnsure all customers participate in roadmap development, discussions and consultationIdentify opportunities for growth and cross-salesActively lead the enterprise pre-sales and sales processesAnalyse customer requirements: attend meetings with potential customers, partners and existing customers, assist the sales process to prepare presentations, demonstrations and planning Demonstrations: create and present persuasive and compelling demonstrations which may lead to pilot programs requiring ongoing training and support Presentations: create presentations on business benefits that relate to the application features, functionality and roadmap, and present to customers, answer technical and product-related questions, gather information, build customer relationships, and gather requirements for potential customers and partners to inform the product roadmap and backlog refinement Your experienceThis a technical role, requiring mastery of both the insurance industry and the software industry:5+ years experience in the automobile insurance industry3+ years of management experience3+ years in product leadership with experience in product operations or head/lead delivery roles, preferably in SaaS companiesA proven background in technicla project management so you can confidently coach and mentor when you're required to roll your sleeves up to run your own projectsExperience leading distributed teams and methods of working asynchronouslyTechnical fluencyPrior experience using JIRA and confluence is an advantage Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
