You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assist in the development, delivery, and maintenance of our market-leading products.
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will enhance our Lending, Transaction, and Savings products, working closely with Product Managers to drive initiatives and improvements across our retail and business offerings.
The Product Officer also ensures compliance with governance standards and contributes to various product-focused projects, supporting Hume Bank's mission to offer fair and accessible banking solutions for its community.
This is a full-time permanent position at our Head Office in Albury, NSW.
Flexible working arrangements, such as Working from Home are available when residing in the Albury area.
What you can expect Reporting to the Head of Product you will:
Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of product solutions aligned with Hume Bank's strategic goalsMonitor and review product performance, ensuring continuous improvement to meet customer needs.Collaborate with Product Managers on projects, product initiatives, and third-party partner management.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and potential product and pricing opportunities.Ensure compliance with governance and audit standards and assist with disclosure document maintenance.About you To be successful in the role, you will have:
A relevant qualification in business, marketing, or a related fieldExperience in the financial sector and familiarity with regulated environments (desirable).Critical thinking skills and a passion for innovation and process designAbility to work autonomously and manage stakeholder relationships effectivelyExcellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solvingStrong research and data analysis capabilityAbout Us At Hume Bank, we've always believed the future is bright.
