Product Manager Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia Job Description How will I help?
This role is responsible for driving the acquisition and activation of consumer transaction accounts across all Westpac Group brands, including Westpac, St George, Bank of Melbourne, and BankSA.
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of acquisition initiatives, offers, and programs to grow the transaction account portfolio and ensure early engagement and usage within the first few months of account opening.
Key responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in transaction accounts and early engagement. Lead offer development from ideation to execution, ensuring competitiveness and compliance. Create customer-oriented strategies to drive advocacy and brand preference. Collaborate with Digital Sales, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and external partners for alignment. Influence and manage stakeholders to support initiatives and meet key metrics. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing timely reports on outcomes. Use data and insights to identify opportunities and recommend optimizations. Leverage market research and customer feedback to refine strategies. Identify growth opportunities and tailor value propositions to meet unique needs. What do I need? 3-5+ years' experience in product management, preferably within financial services, fintech or consumer services. University degree in business, marketing, finance or equivalent Understanding of product, marketing and project management techniques Demonstrate ability to autonomously manage complex initiatives from conception to delivery. Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation. Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive performance insights and business outcomes. Strong skills in planning, project management, time management and decision making Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid problem solving and evaluative judgement skills What's it like to work there?
