We believe in holistic and sustainable portfolio management focusing on customer benefits, quality, and profitability. A role within the Product team provides influence and drive towards these objectives within the STIHL group. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work efficiently and effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver products and contribute to achieving the company's vision and strategies. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the role works in collaboration with the rest of the product, technical and training team and broadly with the wider STIHL team. Much of the success in this role will be achieved through collaboration with other departments including sales, marketing, supply chain and finance and with the support and guidance of the executive leadership team. Cooperation and teamwork among the Product Management team is vital in achieving the KPI's of the department and individual portfolios. Product Manager role The Product Managers role is to advise, develop, plan, implement, and monitor performance of all products and accessories within the defined portfolio ensuring STIHL maintains a market leadership position and develops a wider range to ensure strong on-going growth Position Purpose  Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth while ensuring profitability of the brand.  • Create excitement and buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners. • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies ensuring growth and profitability. • Plan, coordinate, and drive product launches and product reviews.  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services including test and prototype products as part of the international testing program.  • Work closely with local and international teams to deliver products to the market while optimizing available resources. Essential Experience Proven work experience in a technical product management role, including managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to key stakeholders including executive management. Solid technical / engineering background with understanding and/or hands-on experience relevant to OPE.  Excellent written and verbal comprehension and communication skills. Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams. Strong Organisational abilities, including time management, prioritizing and delegation.  Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem solving and reporting abilities. Customer focused with proven customer relationship skills. Technical or Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
