Since launching in 2019, Kaluza's technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.
From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement.
And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.
Kaluza is currently in an exciting growth phase, undergoing the next phase of our international expansion in Melbourne to further reinforce our capabilities as a globally distributed energy platform.
We're in the early days of building our team and so in-office presence to us is important - working really closely with our clients to forge a strong working relationship.
Our team currently works from our office in Melbourne CBD (Spencer St) 2-3 days per week.
Our goal is to build a self-sufficient and empowered team here on the ground in Australia.
We're well on our way, but until we get there we still have some reliances on our UK team.
Being comfortable working flexibly for a portion of your working week to cover time zones is required.
Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working? You'll be joining the Kaluza Product community.
We're a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.
What will I be doing? You'll play a critical role understanding, designing, and implementing product features to meet the needs of our clients (and their customers!
).
Responsibilities include:
Being the authoritative source of information within Kaluza for the how the clients' business processes operateDrive product execution and delivery by maintaining a prioritised product roadmap and partnering with internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with teams across Kaluza to adapt and expand their features for KaluzaDefine the right success metrics with an understanding of how this translates into value for the clientMonitor performance, influencing prioritisation of work to improve when necessarySupporting a culture of open collaboration across Kaluza, client and third party colleaguesUsing your influencing skills to bring wider business stakeholders on the journey with youIs this the job for me? Ideally you'll have:
A passion for building great products to solve retailer pain pointsSeveral years of versatile experience working as a product manager, ideally within the the energy industryAn ability to tailor your communication style to the audience and simplify the complex in explanationsA problem-solving mindset and collaborative approachExperience of working with product teams in an agile environmentSkilled at translating business needs into technical requirements enabling engineering teams to develop solutions iterativelyPassionate about working with stakeholders across Kaluza and its clients to ensure high levels of engagement and knowledge sharingStrong relationship-building skills both with clients and internal teamsExperience designing complex or enterprise-level softwareExperience or are comfortable working across Australia / UK time zones when neededKaluza Values Here at Kaluza we have five core values that guide us as a business:
