We are now recruiting for an energetic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. You will ensure IMB's suite of products, and Alliance product offerings, remain competitive and exemplify IMB's strategic direction in terms of member focus, growth, and financial sustainability.
You will also continue to develop IMB's product portfolios to assist in meeting IMB's strategic growth plans by way of identification, financial assessment, development, and implementation of new products and enhancements, and all ongoing product management and product pricing.
About the role You will monitor market and competitor activities to identify opportunities / gaps with existing product portfolios and potential new product developments. This includes monitoring competitor offers, pricing, new products, enhancements to product features, and market trends.Monitor and manage the performance of existing product portfolios to assess trends, gaps and areas requiring attention.Explore opportunities to refine/enhance our existing products to ensure product offerings are competitive and profitable.Provide review & input of marketing materials to support the acquisition and retention objectives of our existing product portfolio.Project manage (directly or indirectly) the formal product development process from opportunity identification to business requirements.Prepare reports for the regular Pricing Committee meetings in an accurate and timely manner including preparation of funds movements, advertising, and media notes.Assist in the provision of pricing strategies & recommendations based on analysis of market data and competitor information for meeting business objectives and maintaining market viability.Update and maintain IMB Product information within IMB's open banking product database, ensuring the product database captures all mandatory product data.Understand Design and Distribution Obligations, ensuring that IMB products are compliant and TMDs are accurate. You will also fulfill other DDO requirements including reporting and annual reviews. About you Ideally degree qualified in relevant field or 5 or more years of relevant experience.Previous product management or product development experience in retail banking.Experience in developing product and marketing strategies and communicating recommendations to Management.Understand key regulatory requirements including Design and Distribution Obligations and Open Banking product data requirements.Demonstrated development and delivery of successful product initiatives.Pricing, recommendation and reporting experience.Strong presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.Skills to analyse data from multiple viewpoints including market data, competitive offerings, and other information sources.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, ability to be clear and concise.Working knowledge of the compliance and regulatory framework. Our Head Office located in Wollongong is a fresh, newly constructed state-of-the-art building with great amenities and close to shops, cafes, and the beach. The successful candidates will be required to attend the office under our hybrid working model, the frequency will be dependent on residential location.
