The Digital and Transformation Business Unit is responsible for the strategic development and execution of group-wide transformation. This includes key group-wide functions of strategy, technology, digital and product management, data and analytics, and information security. Collectively, these functions exist to make Humm available to our customers whenever and wherever they need us.As a successful Product Manager, you will be Hummgroup's biggest customer advocate and have an unrivalled passion for managing products that customers love.What Does An Average Day Look Like?No day is average at hummgroup but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:Lead activity to understand our customers; their pain-points, their attitudes, and their needs and shape our initiatives to address our customer needs in a way that works for our business.Contribute to and translate our product portfolio's 3-year strategies into implementation initiatives and your team in execution of those initiatives.Actively contribute to the portfolio management of our existing products and key business drivers that will deliver profitable sustainable growth.Lead your team in product discovery and product development activities.Support the different delivery teams in delivering to the product roadmap and through our planning and alignment processes.Understand the systems and processes that support your portfolio and the maintenance effort required to sustain the product and its profitability.Balance the need for engineering uplifts, tech upgrades, and platform maintenance to create and maintain robust reliable products with the need for new feature development to improve how we solve customer problems and accelerate the company's growth strategy.Partner with internal and external stakeholders and be the driving force behind the implementation of the business strategy.Lead the discovery of customer needs, stakeholder needs, and business needs (viability/regulatory/strategic etc.) to develop and shape initiatives into testable, measurable experiments and product releases.Conduct experiments, define scope, validate customer problems & define solutions with your tech team and stakeholders and SMEs.Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify improvements, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive sustainable and profitable growth.Scope and prioritise new product initiatives and enhancements based on business and customer impact.Drive the delivery of product initiatives and enhancements including working with the sales and technology teams, executives, and other marketing teams.Conduct market and competitive analysis to ensure existing products remain competitive whilst identifying areas of improvement or new market opportunities.Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across the business.Who will thrive in this role?You will be customer obsessed and driven to want to make a positive difference in people's lives. We are also looking for someone who brings:5+ years' experience in product management, product development preferably in a digital setting or similar.A positive outlook and belief in the strength of good relationships, along with excellent multi-tasking skills and a focus on delivering outcomes.Commercial, analytical, and curious mindset; outcome-focused and willing to jump into any task to get the job done.A good understanding of Digital/Agile development processes and lean start-up methodologies.Technical acumen and a systems outlook to apply to problem shaping and problem solving.Ability to manage a busy workload of top priorities and can be relied on to deliver end-to-end.High attention to detail and belief in delivering the best possible customer outcomes.Flexibility, drive, and passion for customers; able to operate in and contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Proven ability to develop and deliver product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to a range of business stakeholders.A proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.Experience in regulated financial services products (desirable).Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Working at hummgroupThe hummgroup is in growth mode, and with that comes the unique opportunity to truly own and build your career journey with us.
