In this unique role, you will blend product management responsibilities with game design elements, ensuring our educational platform is both effective and engaging.Collaborating with our broader global team, we are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a team environment and strive for excellence. If you are a highly motivated individual, with a user-centric approach looking to create amazing digital experiences and have a knack for game design, then this role is for you. This role is based in Sydney, Australia. This role will be two days in our office in the Sydney CBD and three days WFH. This may change in the future.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign engaging and educational experiences that align with our learning objectives are easy to use and add value to users.Develop game mechanics and dynamics to make learning interactive and fun.Work with cross-functional teams to integrate game design elements into the product seamlessly.Conduct playtesting and iterate on game designs based on feedback and data.Ensure the balance between educational value and entertainment in all product features.Collaborate with content, design, technical, and marketing teams.Communicate with global stakeholders and customers through calls, interviews, surveys, and other methods to understand and represent the customer's voice throughout the product development process.Gather requirements, elaborate and document them as Agile stories, working with Agile teams to turn those requirements into features.Develop and manage project schedules, tracking and reporting on milestones met by internal and external teams.Support marketing and product teams by creating and editing product videos as required.Collaborate with UX and design teams to develop user experience flows, interactive wireframes, and visual designs.Monitor defects; perform ad hoc testing, content testing, and user acceptance testing.Manage updates to customer user guides; support FAQs and other product documentation.Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and workshops.Data-driven in approach to understand usage, patterns, and recommendations.Requirements3+ years of experience in digital product management.Experience in game design, particularly educational games, is highly desirable.EdTech experience is a benefit but is not required.Bachelor's degree or higher.High energy, motivated, and driven to succeed.Intelligent and highly analytical (a must!).Excellent communication and people skills with a collaborative work style.High-level proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.Strong presentation, project management, and planning skills.Committed and meticulous with an eye for detail.Self-starter with excellent initiative to constantly value-add.BenefitsA business with a strong purpose to provide quality education to children everywhere.A fast and exciting scale-up environment.Edtech is a booming industry.Work closely alongside seasoned successful entrepreneurs.Opportunity to innovate and challenge the status quo.Great remuneration.
