The Role:
The Product Manager role strategically guides the product's development. They shape the vision, outline the roadmap, and define the features and success metrics. Their goal is to collaborate with development teams to bring a product to life that not only aligns with the overarching strategy but also resonates with customer needs and drives business success.
Key Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer base to ensure customer-centric development and support. Aligning product goals with the overarching company strategy to realize long-term objectives. Defining and documenting the product's features to ensure alignment with the product strategy and customer needs. Developing and executing a product roadmap that outlines feature releases and enhancements over time. Managing the continuous improvement of the customer experience journey and user interaction with the product. Collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities. Maintaining a deep understanding of user needs through research, user feedback, and market analysis. Working with Product Owners to prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer impact, and resource constraints. Defining and tracking key product metrics to measure success and inform future product iterations. Collaborating with stakeholders to develop Go-to-Market plans for launching new or improved products. Who we are Looking for:
Previous experience in Product Management and CX Previous experience in finance, retail banking, brokers, and/or home loans Direct engagement with customers in consulting, research, design, or delivery roles Working in environments where service design and agile delivery methodologies have been embedded. Experience managing stakeholders ranging from Senior Leaders through to cross-functional team members. You will be empathetic to the needs and pain points of customers and stakeholders, committed to delivering outcomes, and confident in presenting and communicating both verbally and in writing. With excellent listening, analysis, and problem-solving abilities, you will be comfortable engaging with any customer or stakeholder. You will possess a strong understanding of user-centered design and agile development methodologies, acting as a translator of concepts between technology, business, and customer domains. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, you are a thorough researcher and analyst. As a skilled presenter, you will need to communicate clearly and confidently, and be adaptable in switching between collaborative, delegative, or autonomous working styles.
