Product Management & Development (Marketing & Communications)Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleReporting to the Head of Marketing and partnering closely with the Head of Design this is an integral role in the ongoing success of this organisation and their expansion globally.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive product strategies to drive business objectives and meet customer needs.Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop effective go-to-market plans, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement materials, and customer engagement strategies.Develop marketing activities for distributors and retailers.Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, timelines, and budgets.Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape.Collaborate with R&D, design, and sales and broader marketing teams to develop innovative and high-quality products that resonate with the client's target audience.Manage the product lifecycle, including new product development, existing product enhancements, and product discontinuation.Drive product pricing and positioning strategies based on market dynamics and competitive analysis.Monitor product performance and KPIs, analyze data, and iterate on product strategies to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field5+ years of experience in product management ideally within the consumer goods industry.Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products from concept to commercialization.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.Passion for consumer goods and a drive to deliver exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.About the companyOur client is a leader in the Australian consumer goods industry.
