About the role Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for the successful implementation from concept to production of all of our fine wines, including packaging, promotional items, and communication support material.
The role also manages the production schedule and works with suppliers to control costs and ensure compliance with legal requirements for packaging by market, while also achieving sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, tech-savvy, have a can-do attitude, and be willing to participate as an active member of a small team.
Key Responsibilities Executes the strategy and marketing plans with the broader Kilikanoon team and partners.Manages the Kilikanoon Wine Show entry process as well as the awards database.Develops a new vintage release program to ensure samples are available for wine writers, distributors, and media on release.Supports the NPD and vintage roll process to ensure effective and relevant wines are available for customers with all communication elements available.Manages suppliers for the acquisition of dry goods in a timely and cost-effective manner, including managing artwork approval to production.Works on rework of existing stock for existing and new markets.Collaborates with logistics companies on the packing and shipping of orders to global markets.Skills Required: Wine industry experience.Numerate with strong organisational skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.Excellent communication skills with a clear calm manner.Customer-centric focus & conflict resolution skills.Friendly, outgoing, and motivated.This role can work from home; however, there is a strong desire to interact with the team on a fortnightly basis, either by online tools or in person.
A minimum of a quarterly visit to the Clare Valley winery is required to ensure ongoing connection with the team and build rapport.
