We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to lead the product management and delivery of Operations Management within the IELTS operations team.
This role will support the delivery of our ongoing IELTS transformation of test centre, test taker and IELTS partner experiences.
Through sound Test Taker research, market and data analysis, along with co-validation with IDP's global network you will identify opportunities to develop, enhance and improve the Operations Management product experience.
You will lead the development of the strategic roadmap for the products and work with the teams to implement and deliver, achieving the targeted business and Test Taker outcomes.
This is an exciting role, managing a portfolio of products that will have a critical contribution to the overall IELTS and omnichannel experience of our Test Takers.
A full-time permanent role based out of Melbourne Quarters. Product StrategyManagement of the development of a consolidated Product Roadmap for Operations Management within the Test Centre Experience team, aligning GLT strategic objectives, working with Product Owners to develop delivery plans.Management of current products to create amazing Test Centre and Test Taker experiences focusing on the product lifecycle, new product development and process improvements to drive efficiencies and deliver on business objectives.Leveraging of market, competitor, Test Taker, Test Centre, Partner and digital insights to inform forward-looking roadmap and product plan.Development of the case for change, investment business cases (where required) and canvasses, including forecasting and mapping to key metrics and ROI tracking.Communication of Product Strategy and Roadmap with key stakeholders for input and alignment.Commercial and Partner ManagementDevelop core value proposition for Operations Management products, integrating and connecting Test Centre Experience with Test Taker and Partner Experiences supporting physical and digital Test Taker interactions, omnichannel experience and lifecycle.Reporting of key metrics impacting business performance, including tracking of benefits realisation (from new products and improvements).Leveraging data from across the platform and working with data team identify opportunities such as 'next best action' or gaps that could be addressed which would improve commercial outcomes.Test Taker FirstTest-taker first Advocacy of the Test Centre Experience within the scope of the Operations Management products.Continually walk in the Test Takers shoes across the digital and physical platforms for continuous improvement via a prioritised backlog being actively worked on by the required teams.Collaborate with CX and research teams to facilitate regular co-design to enable a complete understanding of Test Taker needs.Planning and DeliveryEnsure the Test Taker journey on digital and non-digital platforms is optimised for experience and conversion outcomes.Work with associated product delivery teams to deliver the required product roadmap in line with strategy, business planning and practical needs anchored to network and Test Taker feedback.Manage initiatives in the roadmap across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, co-ordinating and managing dependencies in release schedules.Team LeadershipLead Product Owners to ensure effective implementation of the product strategy, roadmap and performance objectives.Deliver on Test Taker and business outcomes through people enabling the best outcomes through team capabilities.Required ExperienceTrack record in the management of commercialised products/services at various stages in their product lifecycle.Knowledge and execution of product management practice, including business planning, roadmap development, forecast and benefits realisation.Proven ability to lead product lifecycle from concept to MVP and go-to-market; including mature product iterative improvement, and where applicable migration and exit.Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the overall condition and stewardship of the product.Strong business and data analysis skills with ability to synthesise market, Test Taker and data insights to inform product decisions, actions and outcomes.Ongoing thirst for a better understanding of the Test Taker - ambition to play a key role in promoting superior Test Taker experiences and Test Taker centric business solutions.Have business acumen with the ability to create solutions that meet Test Taker needs.Build rapport and communicate solutions to senior stakeholders including being able to tell the story.Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, working creatively on formative concepts or complex problems to solve.Capable of operating with both a macro and micro lens, providing focus to detailed steps/tasks as well as maintaining a big picture view.Passion for driving process improvements that directly impact operational efficiencies and NPS.Prior experience in managing and leading teams.Experience across different industries (e.g.
