It means we understand not just what they need now, but what they'll need next.About the RoleThe Product Manager ensures Orro Group's product offerings align with market demands and organizational goals.
This role spans the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring products are competitive, profitable, and aligned with the service architecture.The Product Manager will collaborate with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to execute product strategies that drive market success.
This role will gather and prioritise market-driven product requirements, define the vision, and ensure product offerings align with customer needs and business goals.
A key focus is driving the homogenisation of commercial constructs across our technical domains—cloud, network, cyber, collaboration, and OT—to ensure a consistent customer experience and simplify the product catalogue.Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Product Strategy Development: Develop and maintain product strategies for Networking, Cloud, Cyber, and Unified Collaboration products, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely and successful product launches and ongoing management.Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.Standardisation and Consolidation: Standardize product offerings based on profitability and customer demand, identifying high-demand products and features.Service Wrappers and Platforms: Develop service wrappers and supporting platforms to enhance product offerings.Requirements Gathering: Gather and prioritise product and customer requirements, working closely with stakeholders to define product features and specifications.Backlog Management: Curate and manage the backlog of feature requests into the platform teams, ensuring effective prioritisation and implementation.Collaboration with CTO: Work closely with the CTO to develop go-to-market offerings and manage the development of the necessary artifacts.Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans, in collaboration with commercial, marketing and sales teams.Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven decisions to optimise product offerings.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, provide updates, and ensure product alignment with business objectives.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product development and management processes.Desired Personal AttributesProduct Management Expertise: Extensive experience in product management, with a strong track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Networking, Cloud, Cyber, and Unified Collaboration domains.Market Analysis: The candidate must have strong market research and analysis skills, as well as the ability to identify customer needs and market trends.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement product strategies that align with business objectives and market demands.Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Leadership: Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful product development and launch.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in product management within the technology sector.Additional certifications in product management or relevant technical domains (e.g., Networking, Cloud) are a plus.Why Orro?Orro is an exciting Australian technology company with a wealth of experience and expertise.
