POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Manager - Neodent and Regenerative Solutions is responsible for the portfolio product marketing, lifecycle management, and go-to-market launch strategies of Straumann's Neodent and Regenerative Solutions across the Australian and New Zealand markets. This role plays a key part in supporting Straumann's growth objectives within the implantology and biomaterials segments.
The Neodent and Regenerative Portfolio includes value implants, biomaterials, and a total solution offering to General Dentists. The position will focus on strengthening the position of these products within the market, driving their success through targeted marketing strategies, portfolio planning, and by engaging with key opinion leaders, customers, and internal teams.
This role will require close collaboration across product management, sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure product launches and ongoing campaigns align with business goals. The Product Manager will also be expected to track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support the ongoing growth of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management & Market Landscape
· Market Monitoring & Analysis: Lead the analysis of market trends, opportunities, and competitor activities. Monitor portfolio performance and market share, providing strategic recommendations for product launches and portfolio optimisation.
· Develop Growth Plans: Create and execute quarterly and long-term strategic growth plans for the portfolio, including new product launches, product departures, and lifecycle management.
· Business Case Development: Evaluate portfolio options, providing detailed business cases for new product introductions and market expansions. Work closely with stakeholders to align strategic objectives.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Sales Support
· Launch & Execution: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for defined customer segments, including General Dentists, Periodontists, Prosthodontists, Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and Dental Laboratories.
· Sales Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the national sales team to develop sales aids, training resources, and marketing campaigns. Provide technical support and product training to help the sales team meet portfolio growth objectives.
· Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), assisting with sales efforts and leveraging these relationships to expand market share.
Regulatory & Compliance
· Regulatory Management: Ensure the portfolio complies with all relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., TGA in Australia). Work with regulatory consultants to manage compliance issues and any required product recalls.
Customer Solutions & Education
· General Dentist Focus: Develop a deep understanding of the General Dentist segment, identifying customer needs and potential partnership opportunities to offer comprehensive solutions.
· Education & Training: Develop and collaborate on educational programs with the Training and Education team. Organise events and product training for both internal teams and customers.
Collaboration & Reporting
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with peers in sales, marketing, logistics, operations, and customer service to manage lifecycle tasks such as product forecasting, supply chain management, and customer service issues.
· Reporting & Feedback: Provide regular updates to management on portfolio performance, sales trends, and new product opportunities. Communicate feedback from the field to inform product strategy and customer engagement efforts.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or business, health/life sciences or engineering.
§ Minimum 5 years total professional work experience and minimum 3 years' experience and proven success in a product, brand management and/or marketing role.
§ Experience in the dental, medical, medical devices industry is desired but not essential.
§ Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
§ Comfortable with up to 10-20% travel.
