VicRoads is seeking a Product Manager to join our Platform Team, where you'll lead initiatives to protect our customers and strengthen trust in our digital services through a robust fraud reduction strategy and a next-generation digital identity platform.

What You'll Do: Digital Identity Platform: Lead the design and deployment of a secure digital identity solution, enabling secure access for customers across all VicRoads services. Define the product vision, oversee integration with existing systems, and ensure the platform meets high standards of reliability, security and customer convenience.
Fraud Prevention & Security: Implement advanced fraud prevention strategies, utilising analytics and machine learning to detect and reduce fraudulent activity. Establish protocols for real-time monitoring and develop features to secure sensitive customer data.
Innovation & Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across compliance, legal, IT security, customer service, marketing and state government to assess emerging fraud and security risks. Drive cross-functional efforts to implement solutions that address evolving regulatory and security requirements.
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development: Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritises fraud prevention, customer trust and security. Design go-to-market strategies to effectively communicate and implement these initiatives.
Customer-Centric Design: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure the digital identity and fraud-prevention features are easy to use and enhance customer trust. Continuously gather user feedback and iterate based on insights.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data insights to optimise fraud prevention and identity management systems. Build business cases for enhancements and present insights to drive strategic decisions.
Who You Are: 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on fraud prevention, digital identity or security products.
Strong understanding of fraud prevention technologies, digital identity solutions, and security best practices. Familiarity with machine learning and real-time analytics for fraud detection is a plus.
You have excellent commercial acumen, consistently achieving financial targets through data-driven decision-making.
You excel in communicating complex, security-oriented concepts to diverse stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
Adaptable and proactive, you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are skilled at navigating regulatory requirements and security challenges.
