Have a meaningful impact as a Product Manager, Cloud Hosting Platforms. YOUR ROLE As the Product Manager, Cloud Hosting Platforms, you will own and drive the enterprise cloud hosting platforms, servicing engineering teams across various business domains. Collaborating with divisional senior leaders (CIOs, CTO, and Divisional EGMs & EMs) and working with Domain Architecture & Engineering, you will help develop, and be accountable for the implementation of, a scalable, resilient, and secure cloud hosting strategy.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for:
Product Strategy: Work with Principal Engineers and Principal Domain Architects to develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for the enterprise cloud hosting platform, informed by market research and emerging trends.Product Management: Operate and manage the current and future-state hosting platform and services, ensuring compliance with SDLC controls and reporting governance compliance.Technical Transformation: Plan and execute the transformation of legacy platforms to strategic state using IaaS and PaaS models.DevOps & FinOps: Implement and drive the adoption of contemporary delivery practices through a self-service platform that enables end-to-end ownership of cloud assets by engineering teams including the ability for them to manage their cloud consumption and resulting costs.Cloud Orchestration: Develop "golden image" cloud infrastructure templates that embed relevant SDLC control and automate connectivity to downstream systems including strategic observability platforms.People Leadership: Lead a team of product owners, engineers and delivery managers, fostering a growth mindset.Commercial Management: Manage the budget and control costs against financial KPIs. This is a permanent position open to candidates located in Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland.

ABOUT YOU Extensive product management experience, with a focus on cloud hosting platforms and AWS services.Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, telecommunications) and familiarity with Agile methodologies are advantageous.Demonstrated experience in leading product strategy, development, and lifecycle management.Deep knowledge of cloud hosting platforms, particularly AWS services.Expertise in designing cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions.Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps methodologies.Proficiency in monitoring tools and performance metrics to ensure optimal platform performance.Ability to leverage automation tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability in cloud operations.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Certifications e.g., AWS and other cloud hosting technologies and platforms (not mandatory).
