About The Role Supporting the category business unit in profitable growth by creating outstanding consumer experiences in the category.
The Product Manager will support the development and deployment of the successful commercial strategy for the product categories, ensuring timely creation of innovative features and products. You will be liaison among regional and local Product Line teams, and factories/suppliers to ensure effective launch execution and consistent ranging, based on deep product knowledge and understanding of market and competitors.
Location: You will be based at Dudley Park, Adelaide office within the manufacturing facility with colleagues working for Business Area & Factory Manufacturing Engineering.
What You'll Do In this role, you will be part of the Taste Product Line Team for APAC & MEA region and you will work closely with Commercial Areas/Markets teams across 19 countries (APAC & MEA). Your main stakeholders will be Product Lines, Sales, Marketing teams and our factories & suppliers.
You will bring a strong support to the Category manager on range execution and product innovation.
Carry out all key steps to enable addition of SKUs into market/cluster portfolios.
Close and daily co-operation with Commercial Areas, Factories/Suppliers to ensure daily execution and follow up of all product related activities.
Support to Product Life Cycle management (new SKU creation/rationalization, specs, phase-in/phase-out, and profitability monitoring).
Support on maintenance of Product Road Map and Model Catalogue.
Regular competitor range benchmarking and analysis including price, unique selling propositions, etc.
Support on product development and project activities, costs revisions from Suppliers /Factories, Business case follow up.
Samples organization & shipment coordination with factories and suppliers (Events/Fairs, Certification Purpose).
Follow up on quality issues and product improvements with stakeholders.
Support to marketing to ensure spec, imagery and content library is up to date.
Supply Chain liaison for launch and monitoring of inventory.
Support factory related activities including product cost efficiency and innovations/ technology road maps.
Who You Are You are an experienced Product Manager with experience working with consumer goods industry.
Demonstrable project management skills, you understand the end to end Product Development process
Tertiary Qualification in business and/or technical field
Fluency in English written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Core Competences Project Management . You can drive workstreams independently.
Product planning & ranging. You can drive discussion with Commercial Areas about new products, new ranges and communicate with factories / suppliers for offers /quotations.
Good listener and communicator. You have great communication skills, you listen, filter and understand consumer needs by Sales Areas and find solutions with our ranges / factories /suppliers.
Problem-solver . You are self-driven and have the aptitude in problem-solving with a proven track record of delivering great results.
Multitasker. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and different stakeholders concurrently.
Analytical skills. Good analytical ability and able to interpret datasets.
Self-starter. You are keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
Team player. You have exceptional collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners.
