Role Description:
The Product Management Lead role is responsible for formulating and overseeing the execution of Synergy's retail product strategy. This role involves managing a team, developing a retail product roadmap, and leveraging customer insights and market trends to drive strategic recommendations.
You will be part of the Products & Services team within the Marketing function of the Customer business unit.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the Product Delivery team (5) in executing the agreed strategy for the broader Products team along with the Customer Marketing Area. Drive analysis and strategic recommendations for products to leverage customer insights, policy or market trends (e.g. AMI and interval data opportunities). Manage product suite throughout the entire product lifecycle, including the development of new products and tariff structures that improve profitability. This includes P/L accountability, go-to-market strategy, promotional activities, pricing strategies and critical assessment of products' performance. Implement the annual review of Tariffs Fees and Charges from making pricing recommendations to implementing the delivery of the changes required. Engage with key external stakeholders including EPWA, Western Power, Horizon Power. What You Will Bring:
Minimum 5 years' professional experience in a product management role or in a Marketing Management role with broad exposure to different customer segments. Experience in a senior or leadership role mentoring and guiding members to achieve team objectives. Experience in energy, telecommunications, or financial services environments is preferred. Strong ability to influence decision-makers based on customer insights and data. Passion and interest in customer experience, research and being an advocate for customers. We Offer:
