You'll be responsible for Support the development of customer segment strategy, incorporating insights from market, competitor/ customer research. Incorporate the breadth of internal & external market and customer data and analytics to drive the portfolio strategy. Support the delivery of projects and initiatives that focus on improving customer outcomes including retention, Net promoter scores (NPS), front-line education and digital customer journey improvements. Develop and implement regular monitoring and benchmarking of market and competitor activities and develop insights to inform the strategy development. Support the product teams with the development of new products or changes to products as informed by analysis, market and customer research and share these insights with the broader Consumer team. Obtain and collate customer research and feedback and work with the product teams to ensure that our products deliver sustainable customer-centric outcomes. Contribute insights and ideas as the Technical SME across enterprise-wide initiatives and identify emerging risks and opportunities relating to the Consumer products and portfolios. About you Experience working within a product/ portfolio management role within a General Insurance organisation. Advanced data analytical skills and experience working with internal and external data, and analytical tools such as Excel, SAS, SQL or Python would be essential. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry recognised accreditation. Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate complex alternatives, make confident judgements and develop innovative, sophisticated solutions. Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders Demonstrates in-depth understanding of strategy development and is able to work with multiple teams to align department strategy with organisational vision, translating vision to action to achieve desired results.
