Product Lead - Business Deposits and Lending Company: Bendigo and Adelaide Bank

About the role: As our Product Lead - Business Deposits and Lending, you will report to the Head of Product - Business and Agribusiness and focus on Product Strategy, Product Development, and Product Management areas for your defined product sets. The key focus of the role is to own the development and delivery of product strategies, roadmaps, and backlogs that align with our target customer segments.
You will ensure the products align with divisional strategies and support the relevant investment charter. There is a strong leadership focus and stakeholder management, and you will operate cross-functionally within the Products team with a strategic contribution to the product transformation agenda.
As a key member of the business product team, you will strengthen the role of Product Management with the business and build the capability of the product team. You will ensure that the team manages the product in accordance with the requirements of the Product Lifecycle Framework and that Product design principles are followed throughout the product lifecycle.
You will drive and take accountability for the product simplification and rationalisation roadmap for your products and constantly review products, processes, and policies to capture and implement opportunities for incremental improvements in line with the product lifecycle framework.
About you: Experience across the development, embedding, and executing of product strategy, roadmaps, and backlogs within a customer segment Proven experience developing and delivering new products to market Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organisation Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proven ability to motivate and develop others Demonstrated expertise in Financial Services products especially those aligned to the defined product set Strong knowledge and understanding of banking products and services, including those aligned to the defined product set Innovative and lateral thinker Leadership capability We offer: Flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 2 days in a local Head Office per week.
