THE ROLE
Matific is seeking an experienced Product Game Designer to play a key role in conceptualising, ideating, and producing our educational game according to the business's requirements. If you are a Game Designer with experience creating and producing games and strong product management skills, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and create new features according to the roadmap and business requirements.
Design the player experience and create mock-ups for features, presenting ideas for development based on the product KPIs.
Ensure the success and growth of the product by preparing a feature vision and strategy aligned with the product roadmap.
Define and communicate a consistent Game Design direction and communicate game design decisions to relevant stakeholders.
Work with relevant cross-functional teams to guarantee a smooth and efficient process.
Manage the ongoing maintenance and improvement of product features.
Manage the production timelines of the creative team (art, animation, UI, and sounds), and ensure it progresses according to plan.
Manage the documentation for all Game-Design documents.
Respect budget and performance constraints when carrying out assignments.
Collaborate with product management to align game design with overall product strategy and goals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform game design and product decisions.
Use data-driven insights to refine game mechanics and improve user engagement.

Requirements

Proven and extensive hands-on experience as a Senior Game Designer.
Proven and extensive hands-on experience with creating successful games from scratch.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with UX and writing complex Game Design documents.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, high attention to detail.
Ability to accept critique and adjust ideas and features accordingly.
High energy, motivated, and driven to succeed.
Excellent communication and people skills with a collaborative work style.
High-level proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
Strong presentation, project management, and planning skills.
Committed and meticulous with an eye for detail.
Self-starter with excellent initiative to constantly value-add.
