Position Overview This role imagines and creates the sports and entertainment experiences sold via the Helloworld Network. The key outcome of this role is the tailoring of "must have" experiences including suitable accommodation, transport, and event day/night hospitality via an understanding of the event demographic and potential EventCo client.
You will maintain a variety of key relationships with Event Owners and Producers, as well as suppliers that ensure the delivery of a top-quality product to our customers. The role will also be responsible for pricing the package offering in conjunction with the EventCo CEO and for ensuring end-to-end coordination of all package components delivering a seamless experience.
What You're Accountable For Work closely with the CEO, HLO Senior Marketing Executive, Contracting, and Procurement teams to create package opportunities that appeal to existing customers and broaden the potential market.Ensure access to all events and adherence to agreed timelines and commitments for content delivery.Demonstrate a keen awareness of pricing strategies and inclusions for each product.Create and deliver financial modelling and manage internal and external approval processes.Ensure all marketing and related collateral is accurate and manage the approval process with Event Owners and Producers.Maintain relationships with the Contracting and Procurement teams for consistent alignment of promotional activity.Support CEO and new business teams to achieve flawless execution and delivery of all experiences.Communicate new events and activities across the organisation in a timely manner.Seek feedback from customers around suitable package inclusions and desired experiences.Work as part of the new events business team and contribute to a harmonious work environment.Develop strong working relationships with suppliers, agencies, partners, and agents/members.Maintain a professional image when representing the business at external meetings and functions.Key Result Areas Keen interest in and awareness of sporting and entertainment events, as well as hospitality and ancillary experiences.Plan, drive, and manage the development and execution of package concepts and ideas.Develop and foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners.Budget and calendar management.Navigate the wider HLO retail network to ensure mobilisation of all possible sales channels.Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
Experience Working knowledge of the travel, events (sport, music, theatre), hospitality, or related industry preferred.Strong planning and organisational skills with a proven track record in delivering multifaceted projects.Proactive with a hands-on approach and a willingness to work within a team.A proven track record in the creation and development of effective relationships within a sport, music, events, or hospitality environment.Strong attention to detail with proven analytical skills.Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.High degree of professionalism and integrity.Other Considerations Full-time role in the EventCo team based in Melbourne at Normanby Rd offices of HLO. Please note this is not a hybrid position.
