The opportunity We're actively hiring for a product engineer - someone who can own an entire feature or product area end to end - from specification, to delivery, QA, customer feedback etc.
What you will do:
Work directly with design and product to deliver end to end user experiences Grow to own large product areas. Build strong customer empathy through understanding customer feedback and product usage Sense of good UX and design sensibilities Follow and improve best practices across the SDLC Review PRs, Pairing and Technical Designs. Establish, promote and refine usability heuristics As a member of our engineering team, you'll be a crucial asset in our journey.
Ship interesting features directly to end users frequently with just the right amount of bureaucracy. (We deploy several times a day, main goes to production) High amounts of autonomy, ownership and impact. Drive key technology and architectural designs across the entire platform and product. Grow with the company - with plenty of opportunity to dive deep technically or move into management. Be intimately involved in business and product decisions. Learn from experienced startup founders (10 years experience, 2 previous exits) About you Experience
5+ years experience in web application software development Ruby on Rails experience (Strongly preferred) Comfortable with frontend (React/Typescript) English proficiency Experience working on applications at some scale. Aptitude:
