Purpose of the Role: The Product Development Team Leader leads the Forming & Reinforcing R&D Team with a focus on developing new products, as well as incremental development of existing products.
The Product Development Team Leader oversees the entire product development process, from the initial feasibility phase to implementation, following the Leviat innovation stage-gate process.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Team leadership, management and accountabilityProduct development project prioritisation and planningManagement of the Leviat innovation stage-gate process on relevant projectsOverseeing of product certifications and approvalsManagement of team training programme and continuing professional developmentCoordination of relevant fundamental research initiativesCommunication interface with key stakeholdersMinimum Requirements: Master's degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineeringProfessional membership at charter level with a relevant engineering institutionMinimum of five years experience in product R&D in a complex/matrix environmentExcellent communication skills; fluency in English – both spoken and writtenStrong people leadership, with an ability to help a team develop and follow a common visionTravel and mobility flexibility at an international levelRobust organisational and product management approachWhat we offer?
