Your Impact:
Reporting to the Group Head of Quality, Regulatory and New Product Development, and based at McMahons Point, you will serve as the Product Development lead responsible for the technical development and delivery of Liquid Milk products including pasteurized milk, extended shelf-life milk, UHT milk, flavoured milk, and fortified milk.
This role will also involve leading product development projects for Australian-based milk powder and adult nutrition products as well as overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of the existing product portfolio.

More specifically, you will be involved in:
Creating new products, reformulation of existing products, and implementing cost-saving measures.
Preparing formulations and providing technical direction and guidance to the product development team.
Leading the development of technical briefs.
Mentoring the team in product formulation, ensuring regulatory requirements and compliances are met.
Ensuring all tasks within product development projects are delivered on time.
Overseeing the collaborative sourcing of raw materials.
Supporting the team with shelf-life validation/recommendation.
Providing direction for product trials, validation testing, and first production runs.
Leading and supporting product development activities at other company manufacturing sites to ensure consistency and alignment.
What you will bring:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in consumer-focused liquid milk and dairy powder development roles.
Experience in the formulation, development, and delivery of dairy-based liquid products and some exposure in nutritional powders across multiple markets is essential.
Ability to provide technical direction and expertise on formulation, new ingredients, new technologies, and factory scale up is essential.
Experience coaching or managing others is highly important.
Ability to partner with and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail, results driven, and a strong team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide results with agility.
Comfortable with a fast-paced culture and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
Degree qualified in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or other related science degree.
