Exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of Sourcing and Product Development to develop & source own brand products in the pet care category, supporting the production, product development & sourcing of high quality products in line with the commercial & ethical requirements of the Petstock Group.
The Opportunity based at our South Melbourne Support Office... Support the overarching own brand strategy in key categories included but not limited to, canine, feline, small animal, equine, bird accessories, toys, bedding & furnitureWork closely with Brand, Buying, Planning, Supply Chain, and international sourcing offices to deliver desired ranges.Complete RFQ's, Packaging Briefs & Tech PacksSource new suppliers, initial costings & MOQs for any new product.Preparing product costings sheets to meet margin targetsManaging couriers, sample flow and sample roomsManage FOB costs from the factories and update master data.Integrate market insight and brand trends into product portfolio strategy, ensuring NPD aligns with brand positioning.Work closely with Brand, Buying, Planning, Supply Chain, and international sourcing offices to deliver desired ranges on time as per plan. If you have the below experience, we would love to hear from you! Minimum of 5+ yrs in similar product development roleExperience working with international suppliers &/or buying office.Experience working on Private Label products is preferable, although not essentialProficiency in Microsoft Office particularly ExcelHands-on and super can-do work ethicExcellent project management skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to work both autonomously & collaboratively in a team environment.If this is the opportunity you've been looking for and you love Pets as much as we do, we would love to hear from you!
