Since launching in 2016 with a range of casual t-shirts and trucker hats, the brand has seen significant growth over the last eight years in its eCommerce offering, whilst growing to 300+ wholesale stockists, a bespoke embroidery division, warehouse/retail outlets and securing large corporate uniforms contracts.

Led by an experienced team of founders, Ringers Western is well positioned to generate strong growth through continued eCommerce expansion, concept stores rollout, wholesale stockist/corporate partnerships and tapping into international markets (e.g.
US, Europe).

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Job Overview: The primary focus of the Product Developer / Garment Technician / Designer is to join the development process for the Ringers Western brand, ensuring each line meets the highest standards of quality, fit, and style.
This role emphasises the technical and organisational aspects of product development, with additional support for design functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Development Oversee the end-to-end development of garment, hat, and accessory lines from concept through to production.
Create detailed technical packs, including size specifications, for offshore suppliers to ensure product accuracy and quality.
Manage the bulk order process, including placement, follow-up, and ensuring on-time delivery for each product line.
Address and resolve quality control claims with suppliers, working closely to maintain product standards.
Facilitate cross-department collaboration to align on product rollout plans and seasonal launches.
Garment Technical Support Document and implement all fit comments and adjustments to improve garment fit, construction, and overall quality.
Provide clear, detailed handovers of specifications, adjustments, and comments to ensure accurate communication with production teams and suppliers.
Oversee sample management, including labelling, storage, and archiving for efficient reference and organisation.
Design Support the creation of new season designs, including logo and pattern work as required.
Assist with graphic artwork for labels and other product components to maintain consistent branding and quality.
Contribute design ideas and solutions to enhance Ringers Western's product offering, ensuring that style complements technical functionality.
KEY ATTRIBUTES: Extensive experience in product development within the apparel or related industry.
Strong technical skills in creating and managing specifications, with knowledge of offshore manufacturing processes.
Attention to detail in fit adjustments, technical packs, and quality control.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
