ABOUT THE ROLE We have some amazing opportunities for proactive and solutions focused individuals to join our Cotton On product space. We are looking for Product Developer Assistants, Product Developers and Senior Product Developer across our brands to enable our vision by developing key ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that our customers love. Our Product Developers support the day-to-day operating rhythm of the brand's category and are the pivotal links between our Buying and Product teams to ensure that we are delivering quality products. Our Product Developers partner with our buyers and suppliers to negotiate and manage product expectations, track production, manage product schedules, contribute to fittings and review samples to ensure our products meet standards and frameworks. Our junior Product Developers focus on style production, managing production and shipping schedules, approve lab dips, trims, strikes offs and bulk fabrics, garment measurements and fittings, sample coordination and technical drawings. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Degree / qualification in relevant field Production i.e. Fashion, Textiles
Demonstrated experience in a similar Product Developer role,
Proven ability with technical specifications and fittings
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.
