Here's everything you need to know about joining the Lack of Color family.Position is located at our HQ in Burleigh Heads, QLD, Australia.Lack of Color has been operating for over 10 years and is well established as the globe's premier e-commerce brand in the hat market.We are Headquartered in a stylish Burleigh Heads office and have a growing number of distribution points around the globe where we service both direct to consumer and wholesale channels.Role Description:We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Product Team on a 12 month maternity leave contract in the position of Product Developer. This role works closely with the Head of Design & Product and is responsible for creating all tech packs, supplier communication, and maintaining all product documents.Responsibilities:Tech packs: Creating detailed tech packs using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel. This includes CAD drawings, measurements, and sample comments.Communication: Managing overseas supplier communications via daily emails and weekly video calls. Liaising with suppliers to receive all product information in line with development deadlines including first cost prices.Fit and Quality: Maintaining key product standards on fit and quality. Providing detailed sample comments for development through to bulk production stages. Assisting with the QC process, including post-production and post-delivery issues.Sample Management: Ensure samples arrive on time for range review meetings, prepping samples for photoshoots, and preparing salesman sample sets.Deadline driven: Critical path management and ownership.Efficiency: This is a fast-paced role, and it is essential that the candidate is able to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work efficiently.To join the team, you must meet the following criteria:Have 3+ years experience specifically working in a Product Development role with an accessory or apparel brand.Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills.Able to use Excel fluently.Accessory or Apparel design experience highly regarded.Hours:This role is a 12 month maternity leave contract, 5 days per week, working from our Burleigh Heads office.
