ResponsibilitiesEngage with Clients: Partner with clients to understand their vision and challenges.
Build strong, trust-based relationships for clear alignment on goals.Conduct User Research: Perform user research—interviews, surveys, and usability testing—to shape user-centred designs that resonate with client needs.Deliver Intuitive Designs: Create clean, elegant designs from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes, integrating client feedback seamlessly.Advocate for the User: Represent user needs in client meetings, ensuring we meet and exceed expectations while promoting best practices in user experience design.Work with the team of designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (iOS, Android, Web, QA) to maintain cohesive designs across platforms, engaging clients to refine ideas.Understand Development Dependencies: Collaborate with development teams to grasp technical constraints, ensuring designs are feasible and aligned with timelines.Peer Review and Feedback: Participate actively in peer reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback to continually enhance client satisfaction.Stay Informed on Trends: Keep updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in AI, to drive innovation that exceeds client expectations.Workshops and Presentations: Contribute to facilitating workshops to gather insights, present design concepts, and ensure project goals align with client needs.What you bring3+ years of experience in crafting beautiful digital design solutions across web and mobile.A strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design methodologies.Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.Familiarity with design systems and scalable design best practices.Rapid prototyping skills to translate ideas into tangible concepts.Solid understanding of user research methods and usability testing.Excellent communication skills to present ideas clearly.A keen eye for detail and user behaviour across markets.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.Experience/appetite to mentor other designers.Why work with us?Flexible leave options for a balanced lifestyle.Hybrid working arrangements to suit your life and career.Melbourne workspace in the premium Work Club Olderfleet.Inclusive parental leave policies for all caregivers.Annual tech allowance for your home office.Opportunities for growth with a $1,500 learning budget.Please note, previous applicants need not reapply.
