ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Product Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers at Outback Spirit Tours. This is an administrative position where you will manage accommodation and attraction requests through our reservations system, collaborate effectively with internal teams, and swiftly resolve any issues as they arrive to ensure we meet customer expectations.
We are seeking candidates with strong geographical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will also have excellent computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver a positive customer experience by fulfilling the commitments made in our brochures and on the website. Manage timely bookings and confirmations for accommodation and attractions through our reservations system while addressing any arising issues. Re-confirm accommodation at the start of the season to prevent problems and negotiate attraction rates as needed. Drive innovation, process improvements, and maintain key relationships across departments. Collaborate with guest services on attraction bookings and update the reservations system on rates, alerts, and itinerary changes. Attend weekly meetings with senior management to discuss tour season challenges and complete any delegated tasks efficiently. ABOUT YOU: You will be a highly organised individual with a solid understanding of touring. You possess exceptional problem-solving skills, are proactive, and communicate effectively.
Requirements: Previous experience working in an administrative role. Previous experience in the touring industry with a solid understanding of Australian geography. Proficient in travel software and technologies. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. Well-versed in various travel sectors, including domestic and both group and individual arrangements. Comprehensive understanding of Excel for operational tasks. A positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to contribute to the team's success.
