Product Configuration Technical SupportWeir MineralsArtarmon, NSWOnsiteApplication Closing Date: 22nd November 2024Purpose of the Role: You will be responsible for ensuring that all products sold by Weir Minerals have corresponding production orders and the products are configured to enable the effective and efficient use manufacturing and assembly resources.Key Responsibilities:Timely delivery of registered and processed Work OrdersAccurate and complete with a 3-day turnaround (based on due dates)Configure the product Bill of Materials using SAP Variant ConfiguratorNumber and impact of inaccuracies and non-compliancesConfigure customized product Bill of Materials using manual configurationNumber and impact of inaccuracies and non-compliancesChecking all Work Order deliverables and requirements are met.Complies to Work Order processing checklistAdvise Master Data Department of information required for creation Material Masters in SAP for any special parts or parts that require certification.Incorrect or missing parts shipped to assembly - % errors and/or rework - as reported by assembly shopConfigure Routing Operations Raise purchase requisitions for purchased itemsManage amendments of Work OrdersAccurate and complete with a 2-day turnaround (based on due dates)Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Engineering Degree or qualification2 - 3 years' experience working in a similar roleSAP Experience is essential for this positionExperience configuring Bill of MaterialsExperience reviewing and checking Work Order DeliverablesSAP ConfigurationStrong written and verbal communication skills.Strong negotiation and influencing skillsIntermediate Microsoft Excel User Capability and experience using Microsoft Suite
