Role Purpose and Summary This role will join the Wealth Maximiser team.
Wealth Maximiser is a new hybrid financial planning service that aims to help customers achieve their most important financial goals through personalised, affordable, actionable financial advice.
We are looking for a Product Associate to help us further develop the Wealth Maximiser product.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your skills in customer-centred product design as you will take ownership of new feature launches and improvement implementation to increase conversion and improve customer experience.
You will be the driving force, relentlessly working to get the best outcome for customers and working closely with others to go all the way from design to build to test to launch.
Key Accountabilities Customer Insights and Feedback Collecting and reviewing customer feedback and service data to identify issues and improvement areas.
Develop actionable insights and solutions based on data-driven recommendations.
Product Strategy and Vision Collaborating with the wider team to define the product vision and assist in building a strategic product roadmap aligned with the department and company strategy and goals.
Setting the objectives, milestones and key results for the team to drive progress and measure success.
Solution Design and Implementation Ideate, design, and prototype product improvements using tools like Figma Prepare detailed requirements and statements for web/content/model developers to build, ensuring specifications are aligned to strategy.
Project and Stakeholder Management Liaise with risk and legal to ensure improvements and new features are compliant.
Support developers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
Collaborate with the operational team to prepare improvements for roll out, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption.
Testing and Quality Assurance Develop user acceptance criteria and manage testing processes to ensure updates are functional and effective.
Capabilities Experience collecting and analysing customer feedback and service data, with the ability to draw insights and develop recommendations.
Creative problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in designing prototypes and high fidelity models using tools like Figma, Ability to prepare requirements and statements of work for internal and external suppliers, ensuring stakeholder feedback is captured and incorporated Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to define requirements, plan, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Excellent relationship building skills to maintain effective working relationships, with the ability to report to senior stakeholders.
Strong focus on ensuring customer facing material is compliant, accurate and aligned to brand strategies.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Experience & Qualifications 2+ years in an agile and product environment, as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst Familiar with user and web design methodology, and agile development processes Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces – ability to create wireframes and mockups.
Experience delivering new features to market Experience managing multiple stakeholders Ability to work in a super-fast paced environment with low structure and high autonomy.
Have high energy with a proven track record of 'getting stuff done'.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Financial Services, very beneficial if this is in Financial Advice for consumers (desirable) University degree (or equivalent level qualification) (desirable) Experience with Figma, Canva, Powerpoint, Excel, DevOps, Wordpress (desirable)
