At ING, the Daily Banking Tribe is responsible for driving the end-to-end performance of the Daily Banking business through development of a clear strategy and working collaboratively with all areas of the business to drive cross-functional execution of this strategy.

We're looking for an experienced Product Area Lead / Head of Product to join the Daily Banking Tribe leadership team within the Retail Bank. This role will be accountable for our Daily Banking product strategy and execution; working closely with customers and business partners to design and build customer-centric products, lead our sustainability agenda, and manage risk. Please note: this is a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity.

What you'll doHold accountability and leadership of the Daily Banking product strategy; maintaining, designing and building market-leading products that deliver customer-centric features, benefits and capabilities.Manage the efficient product operations, including using expert business insight to build a pipeline of cost-reduction initiatives, collaborating with operations and contact centre on digitisation initiatives and developing strategic solutions/recommendations for our product KYC journeys.Investigate and develop the longer-term Daily Banking sustainability strategy, leading the development of sustainable / "green Daily Banking" initiatives to deliver on our ambition for net zero.Ownership of product governance requirements including issues and incident rectification and leveraging financial acumen in commercial vendor arrangements, to ensure fulfilment of our obligations to regulators and customers.Lead and deliver key product changes such as changes to interest rates, fees, promotions, and terms and conditions.Support the development and implementation of a product lifecycle, including the simplification and management of legacy product strategies.Lead a team of professionals with deep expertise to achieve the growth aspirations of the tribe, whilst developing their careers, and supporting a strong "orange" culture of can-do and collaboration.Lead agile delivery of continuous improvement in our systems and processes. What we're looking forDemonstrated leadership experience coupled with a strong coaching and development mindset.Demonstrated expertise (7-10 years+) in marketing, product management, and/or digital acquisition in Daily Banking.Experience with leading, coaching and developing high performing teams.Demonstrated cross-functional stakeholder management experience.
